Review: Pantene Ice Shine Shampoo

"Shine and radiant vitality for tired, dull hair."

After taking a trip to the hairdressers, and having my barnet cut and re-styled, I realised it was about time I updated my haircare routine, by introducing some new products. Since hearing a multitude of people say that your hair can become immune to the shampoo you're using, and that it's good to change it every now and then, I have decided to purchase a new shampoo, which happens to be the product I'm going to review in this post.

 Pantene Ice Shine Shampoo, £4.69

This shampoo claims to be "light weight", which ultimately, is the reason why I bought it. It's useful to use a shampoo that "gently cleanses" your hair, and that will also clarify it from any product build up that you may have.

This product does exactly that.

I think a reason for this could be that it's clear, so no colourants have been added. Another prime factor of this product is the scent; this shampoo smells so clean and fresh - what's not to love? This shampoo is also great value for money, as a 500ml bottle retails in Boots for just £4.69, which I think is a reasonable price. This product has a gel consistency, and lathers up into a creamy, white foam. I find that you need to use a fairly generous amount in order to get a nice lather, and also to thoroughly clean your hair, but with a rather affordable price tag this is understandable. I must admit, some of the claims listed on the back of the product are a little over-exaggerated, but if you're looking for an affordable shampoo that gently cleanses your hair, leaves it feeling light weight and shiny looking, smells clean and fresh, and lastly, that clarifies your hair from any access product build up that you may have, then this product would be a great option for you to choose as your basic, everyday shampoo.

Have you ever used the Pantene Ice Shine Shampoo? What were your thoughts?

Welcome

Hello, I’m Natalie. I've decided to create my own little personal space on the internet, somewhere I can express what ever is on my mind. I plan to write about the things I get up to in my day-to-day life, and because I am a total beauty fanatic, I also plan to share my thoughts on certain beauty products that I'm using. I don’t really plan to stick to a set schedule; I just want to write about the little things that pop up in my life that perhaps some of you may find interesting, and if you do that’s amazing and I’m so grateful.

I realise this was a short, brief introduction, but I guess that’s all it really needs to be as I’m only just getting started. I see my blog as a place to relax, and express my thoughts and feelings simply through words and photographs. I hope you enjoy your time here,

Thank you.
